Return and Refund Policy

At Batteries and Ink, we take pride in providing reliable products and excellent customer service. If something isn’t right with your order, we’re here to help. This policy explains how returns, refunds, and warranty claims work.


1. Definitions

For the purposes of this policy:

  • Company (“We”, “Us”, or “Our”) refers to Batteries and Ink LTD.
  • Products refer to physical goods sold on our website.
  • Order means a purchase made by You from Us.
  • Website refers to batteriesandink.com.
  • You refers to the customer placing an order or initiating a return.

2. Return Policy

We accept returns within 30 days from the date of delivery. To qualify, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
  • A copy of the receipt or order confirmation must be included.
  • All accessories, manuals, and labels must be intact.

Return Conditions

  • Defective or Wrong Item Shipped: We will provide a prepaid return label at no cost.
  • Customer-Initiated Returns (e.g., wrong item ordered, change of mind):
    • Customer is responsible for return shipping.
    • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
    • A 10% restocking fee may apply.
  • Returns After 60 Days: Accepted only on a case-by-case basis. If approved:
    • You pay return shipping.
    • A 10% restocking fee applies.
    • Original shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.

3. Shipping Responsibility

  • We recommend using a trackable and insured method for returns.
  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
  • If an item is returned due to incorrect or incomplete shipping details provided by the customer, only a partial refund will be issued.

4. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are processed within 3 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
  • Refunds are issued back to the original payment method.
  • A 10% restocking fee may apply for:
    • Returns after 30 days.
    • Orders with customer error (wrong item, incorrect shipping address, or refused delivery).
  • Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.

5. Warranty Coverage

Most products include a limited warranty of 6–12 months, depending on the item. This warranty protects against manufacturing defects and early failure under normal use.

Warranty Periods

  • 0–60 Days: Refund or replacement if the product is faulty.
  • 61–365 Days: Replacement or partial refund (no full refunds).
  • One-Time Replacement: Once a replacement has been issued, the warranty ends.

Warranty Limitations

  • Not Covered:
    • Physical damage (drops, water, heat, accidents).
    • Overcharging, misuse, or use with incompatible devices.
    • Normal wear and tear.
    • Unauthorized repairs or tampering.
  • Small-Value Orders (Under $20):
    • Warranty claims after 120 days are not eligible for free replacement.
    • Instead, we may offer a discounted repurchase option for the same item.

6. Warranty Claims

To file a claim, please provide:

  • Your order number.
  • A brief description of the issue.
  • Clear photo or video evidence of the fault.

After review, if approved, we will:

  • Ship a replacement at no cost, or
  • Offer a refund or store credit if a replacement is unavailable.

In some cases, the faulty item may need to be returned for inspection. If required, we will provide a prepaid return label.


7. Special Conditions

  • Refused Delivery / Return-to-Sender: If an item is returned because delivery was refused or marked “not received” despite an attempted delivery, only a partial refund will be issued.
  • Warranty Record: Each order has a digital warranty record. Once a warranty replacement is issued, the record is closed and no further claims can be made for that order.
  • Goodwill Solutions: If your warranty has expired, we may offer a discount code for future purchases instead of a refund.
