How To Replace The Nexus 5 Battery
Before replacing the phone battery, please make sure to discharge the battery below 20%. A fully charged lithium-ion phone battery that is unstable or not handled correctly could combust or explode.
- 1: Use a plastic spudger tool or flat pick to remove the clips on the top bottom and sides. The bottom is secured with an adhesive and should come free easily.
- 2: Remove the six Phillips #00 screws and take off the frame assembly.
- 3: Disconnect the battery connector and daugterboard cable using a flat plastic pick.
